ACB searches typist’s house seizes hard disk, documents

Bengaluru: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) who searched the residence and office of stenographer Mohan Kumar on Tuesday, January 8 in connection with the seizure of `25.76 lakh at Vidhana Soudha have seized a hard disk and documents.
Mohan was taken into ACB custody, and the agency has been recording his statements and also searched his residence and office
The Bengaluru City Police on Monday, January 7 handed the case over to ACB after preliminary enquiry. The seized cash was meant as a bribe for Backward Classes Minister C Puttaranga Shetty, informed sources.
Mohan was caught by the police when he was on his way to meet the minister and during the investigation done by Vidhana Soudha police, Mohan had confessed that he was holding the money on behalf of Shetty.
