Mangaluru: Recently, BJP National Secretary CT Ravi took a jibe at the Gandhi family and said that one cannot accept Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi as leaders
Reacting to this, Former minister Ramanath Rai said that CT Ravi is a man who is not aware of his genealogy and that Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi have sacrificed their lives for this country
Speaking to the reporters here, Rai said, ” CT Ravi considers those who went to jail over corruption as leaders but does not respect those who went to jail during the Independence struggle. While Congress leaders went to jail fighting for the nation, BJP leaders like Yediyurappa went to jail over corruption”
He further said, “Government has failed to tackle Covid-19 in the state. There is no coordination between the MLA, ministers, and officials. Also, The district in-charge minister is not active in controlling the spread of Covid-19 in the district”
“Stringent measures must be taken to control the spread of Covid-19. The government has imposed night curfew but people are allowed to roam freely during the day. Does Covid-19 affect people only during the night?” he questioned the government
