Accident in Tanzania: Udupi businessman Shravan dies

Udupi: A business from Udupi lost his life in an accident that took place at Babati in Tanzania, Africa. The deceased is identified as Shravan Kumar alias Shravan Nayak (39), an entrepreneur from Paniyadi here.
The accident in question took place on Aug 30 in which, Shravan suffered serious injuries when the car he was travelling in was hit by a truck. The grievously injured Shravan was initially admitted into a nearby hospital and later flown to Udupi from Tanzania and admitted into a private hospital here on September 7 for further treatment. However, the victim failed to respond to the given treatment and breathed his last on the night of Monday September 10.
The deceased is the son of a well-known BJP leader Pernankila Shankar Nayak, younger brother of Pernakila Shreesha Nayak, who is the BJP state Yuva Morcha president and sister of Sweekar Nayak, who operates a business at Tanzania. Shravan had gone on a visit to Tanzania with his wife. Sweekar and Shravan were travelling in the ill-fated car when tragedy struck, leaving Sharavan greviously injured.
Shravan was partner of Udbhav Constructions, which lays cable lines. He is survived by mother and wife.
