Accused in Ideal Chicken Shop case booked under Goonda act

Mangaluru: Police invoked Goonda act on the two accused in the murderous physical assault on staff of a poultry shop at Valencia Junction that took place in April this year.

The accused Preetham Poojary (26) of Jalligudde Bajal and Dheeru Yane Dheeraj Kumar (27) of Yekkur have been accused in many other cases including an attempt to murder Dacoity, Kidnaping, and criminal conspiracy.

The Kankanady police said as both the accused are considered dangerous for society, the Goonda act has been evoked on them for maintaining the law and order situation.
