Accused prayed for six hours before shooting Gauri Lankesh

Bengaluru: Six hours of intense prayer for the achievement of Gauri Lankesh murder, blindfolding of accused shooter Parashuram Waghmare till reaching the home of Gauri, travelling 100 km every day after the murder, changing their clothing and looks so as not to get captured are a portion of the inquisitive mysteries that are being uncovered in the Gauri Lankesh murder case investigation that is being done by the Special Investigation Team (SIT). 

The accused who were frightened subsequent to flopping in the first attempt to murder Gauri prayed God for six hours the following day for their success in the act. Once the murder was done, at that point Amol Kale and Parashuram, Sujith of Shikaripura and others had left Bengaluru. 

The Kale group had blindfolded shooter Parashuram while taking him to the residence of Gauri with the aim that he doesn’t know the direction from his habitation to the home of Gauri. Actually, Parashuram was placed up in a house which was near the place of Gauri. However, when he was taken to Gauri’s home for the murder, his blindfold was opened at a park close-by. So Parashuram could recognize just the park amid the investigation by the SIT. Indeed, even after the murder he was blindfolded by the Kale group and was dropped near toll gate of Nelamangala. 

The denounced likewise changed their appearance after the murder and were underground in Maharashtra according to the details uncovered by the SIT group amid the examination. 

Sujith from Shikaripura, who is one of the accused, had gone underground and dwelled in Satara of Maharashtra for few months. In any case, once he got the news that police are hunting down him, he used to change his area regular by travelling a distance of around 100 km. 

It is learnt amid the SIT examination that the speech made by Gauri Lankesh in the meeting assembled by the dynamic associations in Dakshina Kannada area in the year 2012, in which she doubted about the Hindu religion and particularly the birth of Rama, may be the reason for her demise. The video section of this controversial speech was found on the laptop of one of the accused Sujith. There is a probability that Parashuram Waghmare may have been brainwashed by showing such videos.
