Mangaluru: Over the past few years Animal Care Trust, Shakthinagar, has been holding adoption camps to find permanent homes for abandoned Indian breed puppies and kittens. However this time round, on July 21, ACT is organising an adoption camp exclusively for kittens.

The camp will be held at Forum Mall, Mangalore between 2 p.m to 8 p.m and more than 15 kittens will be put up for adoption.

Animal lovers who wish to adopt will be required to get their valid Photo ID Proof for registration. While no adoption fee is charged, ACT collects a nominal registration fee of Rs 200 that helps in covering the basic medical expenses incurred.

During the camp adopting families will have access to advise about pet care at home.

This is the 20th year for ACT, a registered charitable trust, that has been actively involved in caring for these voiceless beings across Mangalore and stands as a monument of compassion.
