Panaji: Acting British Deputy High Commissioner Colin Wells met Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar here yesterday to discuss the skill sharing between Goa and the UK Police.
“Collin Wells called on Goa Chief Minister to discus the knowledge and skill sharing between Goa and UK police,” the British High Commission in India said in a tweet.
Goa is one of the preferred holiday destinations for Britons who throng beaches in the coastal state during summer.
“I had a meeting with the chief minister. I went to talk about the security arrangements and that was something I wanted to do. I wanted to touch base with the chief minister here about security arrangements being in place for British citizens and to talk about cooperation about security,” Wells said after meeting the chief minister.
