Activists hoist tricolour at disputed cave shrine Datta Peeta

Chikkamagaluru: Indian national flag was hoisted at the disputed cave shrine Datta Peeta atop Bababudangiri, near Chikkamagaluru, for the first time.
The activists from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajarang Dal reportedly hoisted the flag on Friday, August 12, on the backdrop of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
The Hindu activists also tied a saffron knot to the flagpole.
Bajarang Dal State Convenor Raghu Sakleshpur and other Hindu activists were present.
