Maddur: Actor Darshan, arrested on murder charges, and his gang’s alleged misdeeds are coming to light one by one. There are now accusations that Darshan’s gang also assaulted a constable.
It has been alleged that members of Darshan’s gang attacked a Constable who served as the gunman for Congress MLA K.M. Uday, at the MLA’s residence in Maddur.
On April 27, amid the Lok Sabha elections, Darshan campaigned for Congress candidate Star Chandru in the Maddur constituency. During the campaign, a dispute arose over allowing leaders to approach closely, leading to a brawl involving Darshan’s private security personnel. The altercation continued, resulting in an assault on Constable Nagesh outside MLA Uday’s house.
Following the incident, Nagesh went to file a complaint at the Kestur police station. However, it is reported that he was sent back after a settlement mediated by the MLA.
