Mysuru: Nearly a week after undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city, Challenging star Darshan Thoogudeep was discharged on Saturday. Darshan had been admitted to the hospital along with fellow actors Devaraj, his son Prajwal after having met with a road accident during wee hours of September 24.
While Devaraj and his son were discharged a day after the accident, Darshan had to undergo an operation for the fracture he had sustained to his right hand and had been kept under observation.
Blaming the steep curve on the ring road for the accident, Darshan expressed displeasure on the way the news was sensationalised by the media. He clarified that they moved their vehicle from the spot as it could have affected the vehicular movement if it was left on the middle of the road.
The actor even gave a pep talk asking people to follow the traffic rules. However, shortly after, he is alleged to have violated the rules himself by driving his vehicle on a one-way road while leaving the hospital premises.
Meanwhile, doctors have advised the actor to take complete bed rest for 10 days and not to lift heavy weights for some more days.
