Actor Darshan, who has been in judicial custody, in connection with the Renukaswamy murder has been transferred from Parappana Agrahara Jail in Bengaluru to Bellary Central Jail.

Darshan was moved under heavy police security, and upon his arrival at the Bellary jail, Deputy Commissioner Prashanth Kumar Mishra and Dr. Shobharani were present to oversee the process.

Upon entering the jail, Darshan underwent a health check-up before being placed in a high-security cell.

Darshan was escorted inside the jail in a secure vehicle, where he signed in at the security office. Police thoroughly checked two bags Darshan had brought with him before allowing them inside. The actor, dressed in a black T-shirt and wearing glasses, was shifted under the supervision of SP Shobharani and Jail Superintendent Latha.

Given the possibility of fans gathering outside the jail, tight security arrangements have been made around the facility.
