In a significant development in the Renukaswamy murder case, actor Darshan’s wife, Vijayalakshmi, has penned a letter to the City Police Commissioner asserting that Pavithra Gowda is not Darshan’s second wife but merely a friend. Vijayalakshmi has stated that she is Darshan’s only lawful wife.

Amidst social media rumors and claims by some police officials identifying Pavithra Gowda as Darshan’s second wife, Vijayalakshmi clarified their relationship status.

In her letter, she emphasized, “Darshan and I were married in 2003 at Dharmasthala, and we have a son.”

The letter further elaborates that Pavithra Gowda is not Darshan’s second wife. She is already married to a man named Sanjay Singh and has a daughter. According to the law, Vijayalakshmi remains Darshan’s sole wife.

Vijayalakshmi expressed her distress over the misinformation and urged the Police Commissioner of Bengaluru to take necessary action regarding the false claims being circulated.
