A state-level student conference addressing various issues concerning the education system will be held at the junior college ground in Gangavati on Sunday, April 28, under the auspices of the Karnataka Student Organization.
Mohammed Peer Latigeri, the Karnataka State General Secretary of the Student Islamic Organization, announced the participation of renowned film actor Prakash Rai at the conference.
He further raised concerns about the alleged failure to create the promised two crore jobs annually. Latigeri advocated for raising awareness among the electorate to prioritize candidates who advocate for secularism, thereby safeguarding the Constitution.
Highlighting the commercialization of education, Latigeri expressed concerns about the limited access to higher education for economically disadvantaged individuals. He also criticized the selective portrayal of historical figures, citing the example of Tipu Sultan, urging for a balanced perspective that acknowledges both his faults and accomplishments.

The conference will be attended by students from 14 districts, and aimed to facilitate a comprehensive discussion on these pressing issues. Latigeri urged for widespread participation from the youth to ensure the success of the program.
State General Secretary of Karnataka State Students’ Organization Durugesh, Abdul Quddoos, Asif Ali, Naseer Ahmed were present.
