Actor Suraj seriously injured in road accident

Actor Suraj, the nephew of the late Parvathamma Rajkumar, was seriously injured in a road accident near Chikkundi, located in the Begur hobli of Gundlupet taluk in Chamarajanagar district.

Suraj was reportedly on a solo ride on his motorbike on Saturday evening when a tipper lorry hit him. He suffered serious injuries to his leg.  He was rushed to a private hospital in Mysuru. However, his leg had to be amputated due to the severe nature of the injuries.

Suraj is the son of S A Srinivas, Parvathamma Rajkumar’s younger brother. Hailing from Saraswathipuram in Mysuru, he was returning to his hometown from a solo trip to Tamil Nadu when the accident took place.

The Begur police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
