Bengaluru: Actor Upendra plans to announce his political party for the second time.

Upendra is planning to enter politics for the second time on his birthday today.

It is reported that the new party, Uttama Rajakeeya Party (UPP), will put up candidates in next year’s Lok Sabha polls and Upendra himself may contest from the Bangalore South constituency.

It may be recalled that last year Upendra had announced his entry into politics, eight months before the Assembly Elections.

He was initially associated with the Karnataka Prajavani Janata Party (KPJP) and later Upendra announced that he is quitting the party.

On Saturday in a social media post, the actor announced  “Leaders of democracy, To bring a complete change through “Rajakeeya” a new manifesto based ART of Governance (Accountability, Responsibility, Transparency) we are officially launching “Uttama Rajakeeya Party” (UP) in my residence on 18-09-18 at 10.30 AM.”
