Actress Meena’s husband Vidyasagar succumbs to lung infection

Chennai: Prominent South actress Meena’s husband Vidyasagar passed away, here on Tuesday.

According to the reports, Vidyasagar, aged 48, had developed a lung infection at the end of March 2022, for which he was admitted to a private hospital. Though provided with sufficient treatment, he was not responding well, as a result, his health began deteriorating. On June 28, Tuesday, at 7 PM, Vidyasagar lost the battle of life and breathed his last.

As per the sources, the cremation will be held at a cemetery located at Besant Nagar, Chennai on Wednesday at 2 PM.

Earlier, Vidyasagar was found positive for Covid-19 and had recovered from it.

Meanwhile, tributes from across the film fraternity have begun pouring in, with actors like Victory Venkatesh, Khushbu, and several others expressing their condolences.
