Bengaluru: Actress Radhika Kumaraswamy was questioned by the Central Crime Branch in the morning of January 8 over her links with the financial fraud accused Yuvaraj.
Yuvaraj alias Swamy was arrested by CCB for defrauding many including politicians and government job aspirants.
While investigating into Yuvaraj’s dealings, the CCB found out transactions between him and Radhika. They had also questioned Radhika’s brother Raviraj earlier in connection with the case.
Radhika had stated in a news conference that she had received the money from Yuvaraj as fees for acting in a movie. However, no record or agreement of any such movie was reported.
The CCB also found a 40-minute-long audio clip of a conversation between Yuvaraj and Radhika and learnt of a person called Yadav who acted as an intermediary between the two and who, CCB sources reported, is presently absconding.
