Actress Sindhu Menon charged for duping a bank

Bengaluru: A First Information Report (FIR) against South Indian actress Sindhu Menon and 3 others for duping a bank to the tune of Rs 36 Lakh has been filed by the RMC Nagara.

The FIR has been enrolled under IPC Section 420 against actor Sindhu Menon for tricking the bank to get vehicle advance by creating fake reports. Sindhu, third accused is absconding and is said to be in London.

The actress along with three others had taken an advance of Rs 35 Lakh from the bank for purchasing an Audi car and made a record in favour of Jubilee Motors Works Private Limited. At the point when the bank attempted to recuperate the dues, the documents submitted for availing the loan was discovered to be fake.

The bank officials immediately informed the police. The police have now arrested Sindhu Menon’s relative in the background of the complaint. Further investigation is still in progress.
