Aditya Rao to undergo Narco analysis test on Sept 2

Mangaluru: Aditya Rao, accused of planting a bomb at Mangalore International Airport will be subjected to a narco analysis test in Bengaluru on September 2.

The court, it is gathered has given permission for the narco analysis test as was requested by the investigating police.

Rao is presently lodged at the District prison in Mangaluru.

Rao is accused of planting a ‘live’ explosive device near a ticket counter of the departure gate of the airport here on January 20. He later surrendered before the police at the DG & IGP office in Bengaluru and confessed to having planted the bomb.

A team of police personnel from Mangaluru brought him back to the city.

The police had submitted a 700-page charge sheet to the court on June 11.
