Kasaragod: Water scarcity had forced a hotel operating at Adoor to stop operation since the last 15 days. A youth distressed by this development committed suicide by hanging.
Pavitra (29) a resident of Aliyanadka, is the youth who took the extreme step. He was working in the very same hotel which was being run by his father. Shortage of water had left the hotel closed since two weeks.
A case in this connection has been registered at Adoor police station.
