Advocate sexual harassment case: Accused sent to four-day police custody

Mangaluru: Advocate KSN Rajesh, who has been accused of sexually harassing a law internis has been sent to four days of police custody by the court.
The police had sought seven days of police custody of the accused in the third JMFC court of the city. However, Justice Ashwini Kore allowed to take the accused to four days of police custody.
Ashfaq Bajpe argued for accused Rajesh.
Advocate K S N Rajesh, who has been accused of sexually harassing a law intern surrendered before the court on Monday, December 20.
Rajesh had been absconding after a first information report was registered in the women’s police station on October 18.
Two cases were booked at the women’s police station against Rajesh relating to sexual harassment in the office of the advocate.
On October 29, the anticipatory bail application moved by advocate K S N Rajesh was rejected by the sixth additional district and sessions court.
