After SR Patil’s resignation “Downfall of empire has begun”, tweets BJP

Bengaluru: Following news of KPCC working president SR Patil’s resignation the BJP took a jibe at the coalition administration of Congress-JD(S). 

“The destruction of the realm that was worked in the wake of ridiculing individuals’ order has started. @INCKarnataka senior pioneer Sri. S R Patil leaves. This is just the start of the destruction of power hungry government (sic),” tweeted the Karnataka wing of BJP. 

The senior Congress leader gave resignastion from the post of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee Working President to AICC President Rahul Gandhi.
