Bengaluru: Agriculture Minister BC Patil has launched online the “Raitara Bele Samikashe App” (Farmers’ Crop Survey App) in collaboration with the State’s Centre for e-Governance and Agriculture Department.
The app will help farmers in obtaining information on everything related to crop survey.
Farmers can also submit crop survey data through the app. After downloading the app and register in it with their mobile phone numbers, farmers will have to submit their land details including the district, taluk, village and the survey number of their land along with photos of the crops grown on it.
The uploaded data on the crops linked with the land survey number will be collected in the Karnataka State Data Centre for use in various projects and schemes.
Minister BC Patil has appealed to the farmers to make good use of the app.
The last date for registering of crop details for the Crop Survey 2020-21 has been set on August 24.
The app can be downloaded from here – https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csk.KariffTPKfarmer.cropsurvey
