‘AICC planning 4 working prez posts for KPCC to ensure regional, caste balance’

Mysuru: As the state Congress is still awaiting the appointment of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President, MLA Satish Jarkiholi has said that the in order to balance the caste and regional equations All India Congress Committee (AICC) was planning to create four working presidents posts for KPCC.
Addressing presspersons here Satish, who is considered to be in the race for the post, said that a clear picture about the constitution of additional posts of the working president in the KPCC would emerge in a week. It has been delayed due to the Assembly elections in Delhi.
Referring to speculation over the imminent induction of new entrants to the BJP, including his brother Ramesh Jarkiholi, into the Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa ministry, Satish Jarkiholi said a few MLAs had been waiting to become Ministers ever since the 2018 Assembly elections.
“Many, including Ramesh Jarkiholi are the aspirants for the post of ministers. Let their wish soon come true. They toppled Kumaraswamy’s government to become the ministers. Let, Yediyurappa fulfil their wishes after returning from his foreign tour”, he said.
