AIIMS provides telecommunication facilities to help follow-up patients in lockdown

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi on Thursday launched a new facility to help the follow-up patients. AIIMS has invited advance appointments for tele-consultations from follow-up patients of the hospital by calling the number 9115444155.

The hospital said that the follow-up patients can now book advance appointments for tele-consultation, the hospital administration will fix an appointment after verification of the UHID (Unique Health Identification) numbers.

A message to this effect will be sent to the patient through an SMS after booking an appointment. The facility of booking appointments will be available from 8:30 am to 2:30 PM on all working days.

In the statement issued by the hospital, it said “On the day of their (patient) appointment, the patients will receive a phone call from the concerned department on their registered phone or mobile numbers, during the regular OPD or Clinic times”
