All-party meet: Discussions underway, decision on lockdown anytime soon

Bengaluru: The discussion on whether to impose a lockdown across the state is on at the moment at the all-party meet as more leaders including chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, Deputy Chief Minister C N Ashwathnarayan, Health, and Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar, Congress chief D K Shivakumar, Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai, join in.
The ministers in charge of the pandemic, headed by Sudhakar, have briefed the attendees with various measures taken to contain the spread of the pandemic.
Among top bureaucrats attending the meeting are Chief Secretary P Ravikumar, and Additional Chief Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) Jawaid Akhtar among others.
