All technical, professional courses in K’taka to be taught in Kannada too, announces DyCM Ashwath Narayan

Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister and Higher Education Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan on Sunday said that all technical and professional courses in the State will soon be taught in Kannada as well.
He made the announcement while delivering a webinar titled ‘New Education Policy: Study of Indian Languages’ organised by Karnataka University’s All Languages Faculty Association.
He stated that the NEP will strengthen regional languages and the process of translation of the curriculum of many courses into Kannada has already begun in the State.
