Bellare: The city police have filed a case against a few people in connection with the alleged kidnap of businessman Naveen Gowda.

The case has been filed against several persons in Naveen’s family including his father, wife, brother-in-law, and parents-in-law.

Marital discord is suspected to be the motive behind the alleged attempted abduction. As per sources, Naveen’s wife had left his home following and fight a few days ago.

Following this, on December 18 Naveen and his wife’s family had a meeting to try and resolve the issues between the couple, however, Naveen had allegedly refused to take his wife back.

Irked by this, it is claimed that Naveen’s wife’s family members tried to kidnap him and when his mother came to his rescue she was also attacked.
