Aluru Siddapura: Youth murders relatives, commits suicide

Somwarpet: A youth murdered his paternal uncle and aunt and then committed suicide by hanging at Aluru Siddapura on Wednesday evening March 27th. The deceased have been identified as rural police retired Sudana Ganesh (63), his wife Moni (48) and their nephew Sudana Dilip (30).

On Wednesday evening around 6:30 pm, Dilip had visited the house of his uncle and had a fight regarding property. Later, he struck at Ganesh’s head with a sickle and also struck at Ganesh’s wife Moni who had come to the rescue of her husband, instantly killing both of them. He also assaulted the couple’s son Harshith (23) who was in the house at the time of the crime and then committed suicide by hanging.

On hearing the screams, the local rushed to the house and witnessed the three residents of the house lying in a pool of blood. The grievously injured Harishith, who was fighting for his life was rushed to the hospital.

Shanivarasanthe police inspector Timma Shetty visited the location with staff and conducted investigation.
