Amazon India made a goof-up by listing a high-end Toshiba 1.8 ton air conditioner for Rs 5,900.
The e-commerce giant mistakenly offered a 94% discount on the air conditioner and as a result, some customers were able to order it at the offered rate. Others were shown an option of monthly installment of only Rs 278.
According to a report, the error has now been rectified and the Toshiba 5-star inverter AC has been listed for Rs 59,000, at a 20% discount from the original price.
There were similar instances where the company messed up earlier.
Back in June, a man from Delhi reported that he ordered a remote control car from the Amazon website and was surprised when he was delivered a packet of Parle-G biscuits.
A woman from New York received more than 150 Amazon packages she had not ordered.
