Union Home Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amit Shah has secured a commanding lead over his Congress rival, Sonal Patel, in the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat, officials announced on Tuesday.

With over 7.96 lakh votes, Shah exceeds Patel’s 1.81 lakh, underscoring his political dominance.

The seat, a significant stronghold previously represented by BJP stalwarts like Lal Krishna Advani and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, has continued its historical trend, favoring Shah who is now seeking his second term.
