Mysuru: BJP president Amit Shah met the family of Raju of Kyathamaranahalli in Mysuru city on Friday. Amit Shah is on a tour in Mysuru region for pre-election campaigning.

Raju was killed by a rival group on Udayagiri Main Road in broad daylight of March 13, 2016. One of the accused Abib Pasha, was arrested but the remaining accused are still absconding. Police said Pasha is a notorious criminal wanted in numerous more murder cases and is at present out on bail.

Amit Shah said there was no place for viciousness in politics. He cautioned Chief Minister Siddaramaiah that securing people who murder Hindu and BJP workers may not help him to win the elections.

Shah included that if BJP comes to power in Karnataka, the Yeddyurappa government will find a way to capture all the accused, regardless of where they are absconding, and punish them rigorously .

He said Raju was one of the 24 Hindu workers who died fighting for principles and assured the families of all victims that the BJP is with them in every phase.
