After 27 years, Microsoft’s venerable Internet Explorer browser was decommissioned. Amul used a lovely drawing to say goodbye to Microsoft’s original programme. Internet Explorer was first introduced in 1995 and has since been utilised on a variety of operating systems. On June 15, 2022, Internet Explorer will no longer be supported.

The doodle shows an Amul girl seated at a computer, with the Internet Explorer emblem flashing on the screen. “Tera mujhse hai pehla ka internaata koi,” says the narrator. The words “Amul macro soft butter” are written on the design.

The doodle was shared online with this caption, “Internet Explorer retires after 27 years”
