Anand Mahindra is known for his candid views and posts containing social commentary but this time he has a blunt piece of advice for social media users who say they are “missing the good old days” when they could share an opinion without the fear of offending anyone.
He wrote, “Don’t even think about signing up for Twitter.”
In that case, don’t even THINK about signing up for Twitter… pic.twitter.com/fYqG2ahFLg

As per Anand Mahindra’s Twitter profile, he joined the micro-blogging site in April 2009. It appears that Mahindra’s advise to people to avoid Twitter if they don’t want to offend anyone is based on his experience. His followers understand this and have responded positively to the post which shows a picture of Jerry, the mouse from the animated franchise Tom and Jerry.
Below is how the internet reacted.

In your tweet sir, most of the opinions are genuine but few are in the hope that @anandmahindra sir may reply that i like your opinion and want to gift you a jeep🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ps:-🙏dont take offending— Dreamhigh (@Dreamhi01128602) May 11, 2021
People are getting so much emotionally attached to every thing and believe every action of all the individual should be according to there thinking, acceptance and that to without any tolerance .
Thinking before reaction is missing.— Gourav Verma (@goverma7) May 11, 2021
Sir, Twitter has become necessary evil. Due to its reach, we cannot ignore though it blatantly controls narrative overriding sovereignty. Unless we have our own powerful product and shut down big tech social media for a month to transit the masses, they will reign.
