Anant Ambani joins Jio Platforms board as additional director

Mumbai: The youngest son of Reliance Industries‘ chairman Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani has joined the board of directors of Jio Platforms as an additional director.

Anant Ambani, 25, is the youngest of the three Ambani siblings. In 2014, twins Akash and Isha Ambani had joined the board of RIL’s Reliance Jio Infocomm and Reliance Retail. In addition to this, they have also joined Jio platforms.

Reliance Industries Ltd’s Jio Platforms comprises mostly telecom business with Reliance Jio Infocomm, India’s largest telecom operator with over 388 million users.

Jio Platforms comprises RIL’s other digital and entertainment platforms such as Jio Cinema, Jio TV, Jio Saavn, and Haaptik.
