Andhra Pradesh man kills self fearing he has coronavirus infection

Chittoor: In a shocking incident, a 50-year-old man in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor district committed suicide fearing that he had contracted the novel Coronavirus.
The deceased has been identified as K Bala Krishna, a native of Seshamnaidu Kandriga village in Thottambedu Mandal of Chittoor district.
Reportedly, Bala Krishna had watched videos related to the Coronavirus on his mobile phone and started believing that he had been infected and killed himself to avoid infecting his wife and children.
Krishna had been ill for the past few days and visited the SVRR government general hospital in Tirumala on February 5. Doctors told him that he was suffering from a viral infection and advised him to wear a mask so that the infection does not spread to others, informed his Bala Murali, who works as a village volunteer.
