Bengaluru: Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy said that it was not his decision to choose Anitha Kumaraswamy for Ramanagara bypoll instead the people wanted her to contest.

Since I had to resign from  both Ramanagara and Channapatna in the last assembly poll, the people of this constituency had requested me that one of our family member should participate in the next poll hence Mrs Anitha was chosen.

CM Kumaraswamy said that his family is been accused for following dynastic politics, but now everyone was  bringing their family members into politics.
