Ramanagara: In yet another fatal accident on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway on Wednesday, a KSRTC electric bus collided with a Bolero vehicle killing the bus conductor on the spot and seriously injuring the driver.
The incident took place near Vijayapura village in Ramanagara taluk. Several passengers of the bus sustained minor injuries and were rushed to a local hospital.
Reports said that the accident occurred when the KSRTC electric bus, which was on its way to Bengaluru from Mysuru, tried to overtake the Bolero vehicle loaded with plywood.
Ramanagara traffic police visited the spot and are investigating. The case has been registered under Ramanagara rural police station limits.
