Anubhav Kidnap case: Six accused remanded to 10-day police custody

Mangaluru: The six arrested in the kidnap case of the 8-year-old has been remanded to 10-day police custody.

The accused are Ranjith (20) and Hanumanthu (21), both residents of Mandya; Gangadhar (25), a resident of Mysuru; Kamal (22), a resident of Electronic City who works as a mechanic in Bengaluru; and Manjunath (24) and Mahesh (26), both from Kolar.

They were brought to Belthangady on Sunday, December 20 and were produced before the magistrate.

The magistrate remanded them in 10-day police custody, said Circle Inspector Sandesh PG.

Meanwhile, there were celebrations at Anubhav’s house and family members were distributing sweets to all those who visited the house.
