APMC yard labourer found murdered inside parked minibus

The body of a man was found inside a minibus parked near the APMC Yard in Goraguntepalya near Yeshwantpur.

The deceased identified as Chandru, 33, a Yeshwantpur resident, was working as a labourer in the APMC yard.

The bus, in which his body was found, had been parked near the yard since it broke down. Chandru used the bus as a resting place during his breaks.

A passerby noticed his body in the bus and informed the police.

Chandru’s body bore several injury marks due to multiple assaults with an iron rod, police said. Chandru died on the spot due to severe injuries.

The police even recovered the rod used in the attack from the crime scene.

A murder case has been registered and CCTV footage from the surrounding areas is being examined to get clues about the accused.
