‘Appe Teacher’ achieves 100 days record!

Udupi/Mangaluru: ‘Appe Teacher’ has successfully completed 100 days of screening and has again created history in Coastalwood. The movie is presented by Swayamprabha Entertainment and Productions banner and is directed by Kishore Moddbidri.

The 100 days celebration will be held on June 30th at 5:30pm at Mangaluru Town Hall. ‘Appe Teacher’ was released on March 23rd and has created new possibilities for Tulu movies in a limited market. We have won more than we expected, informs producer K. Ratnakar Kamath.

‘Appe Teacher’ was also released at non-tulu places like Madikeri, Koppa, Teerthahalli, Sakaleshpura, Mudigere and Bengaluru and has achieved good response and appreciation here. In Bengaluru, for the first timea Tulu film has remained houseful for 2 weeks, he added.

After a span of two years, comedy heavy weights like Devdas Kapikad, Naveen D. Padil, Arvind Bolar and  Bhojaraj Vamanjoor have acted in a movie. This is the first Tulu movie to be shot with the use of Ronin gimbal. For the first time a Telugu and Hindi famed make-up artist Manjunath Shettihar, has worked in a Tulu cinema.

Along with these specialties the entire movie team includes Ravishankar Pai as the working producer, Ramdas Sasihitlu Mani, A.J. Kartikeyen, Satvik Hebbar, Sandeep Bedra and Karunakar Achar in the direction team, Uday Leela, Ugram, Anjani Putra and Mafti in the cinematography, KGF movies music director Ravi has produced the songs and music, editing by Pradeep Nayak and Vaneel Veigas in song.

The use of a story never used in the Tulu industry, hilarious comedy, selection of talented artists, the good use of the artists and even more use of the scenes coming out of drama to tell the story, excellent background music has led to the victory of the movie, says the movies director Kishore Moodbidri.

People who watch Tulu cinema also watch Hindi, Kannada and English cinemas and have deep technical knowledge. Therefore we have tried not to hinder the technical concerns of the movie. Hence, the cinema has won. Novelty is the reason the reason the movie has won, he points out.
