Mangaluru: The district deputy commissioner Sasikanth Senthil has asked people, who come across instances of corruption in revenue department, to directly complain to Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), who will act against the guilty. He was speaking at the district level Revenue Adalat programme held at the town hall here on Friday November 16.
Responding to some people’s point on issues that are settled in the Land Tribunal not getting represented in the RTCs, the DC said that in case of court cases, details get automatically noted in the RTC.
Property Card
The DC observed that property cards are being issued in the city now in place of property surveys. This makes it easy for people to get Khata in the City Corporation and Mangalore Urban Development Authority (MUDA), he said.
“Henceforth, property card is compulsory for sale and transfer of property. The card provides integrated details of the property in a single document containing seven pages,” informed the DC.
185 applications were received and 55 applications were disposed off on the spot at the Adalat. District in-charge Minister, U T Khader informed that the other applications also will get redressal or response within a time frame.
