Aranthodu: 2 photographers sustain serious injuries in car accident

Two persons sustained serious injuries after a Volkswagen car in which they were travelling in lost control and hit the road safety barrier near the Sampaje Gate at around 3 am last night.

It is gathered that the four occupants in the car, all photographers from Mandya, were returning after completing their work in Honnavar.

The car suffered significant damage due to the impact of the collision. One of the passengers sustained critical injuries and was immediately rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru. Another person was also seriously injured while the other two car occupants are said to be out of danger.
