Aranthodu: Man injured while boarding moving bus, succumbs to injuries

A man who was involved in an accident while attempting to board a moving bus, died on Monday, October 9.
The victim, identified as Karunakara, hailing from Aletti village approached a private bus near Sullia Alletti Cross and attempted to board the vehicle. However, the bus’s door was pushed suddenly, causing him to be thrown onto the road.
The impact of the fall left Karunakara with severe injuries, prompting concerned locals to rush him to the Sullia Government Hospital for immediate medical attention.
Despite the medical care provided, Karunakara’s condition remained critical, leading the attending physician to recommend his immediate transfer to a hospital in Mangalore. Following this advice, he was admitted to a hospital in Mangalore, where tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.
