Arehole Bypass: A person of unsound mind found chained to a tree

Byndoor: A person suffering from unsound mind was found chained to a tree near Arehole bypass here within Byndoor police station limits.

On Saturday morning, locals found the person sitting near a tree and when they approached closer they found out that his legs were chained to the tree he was sitting near. The locals immediately informed the police and meanwhile provided water and food to the victim.

Person from Calicut

The person has been roaming around in the area since a few days and speaks Malayalam. It is learnt that his name is Sayeed and he is from Calicut in Kerala. His family members have been informed and they are on their way, informed the police. The police have taken care of him and given the person with assistance from the locals. It is learnt that he was chained in a desolate area.
