Army jawan fires bullet at girlfriend’s father

Davanagere: In a fit of anger an army jawan is said to have fired bullets at his girlfriend’s father.

The accused is identified as Devaraj (27) has been arrested.

It is gathered that Devaraj had come down to his home town on a holiday. On Saturday, Devaraj had a heated argument with Prakash, the victim after which he shot Prajwal with a revolver.

Following the incident, Prakash was admitted to McGann District Hospital, Shimoga and undergoing treatment there.

A case with regard has been registered with the Honnali police station.
