Arnab, Republic TV to sue Mumbai Police Commissioner for ₹200 crore

Republic Media Network and its Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami on Monday said they’re suing Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh and seeking ₹200 crore in damages over alleged damage to the reputation of Republic TV and Goswami. Legal teams of Republic are currently in the process of filing the defamation suit against Param Bir Singh.The release states that the Mumbai Police and Maharashtra Government lawyer today in the Bombay High Court “contradicted” the Police Commissioner.
