Puttur: BJP’s national leadership has reportedly given a green signal for the inclusion of Arun Kumar Puthila, who founded the Puthila Parivar after leaving the national party.

Former MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor has, however, laid out three conditions for Puthila’s inclusion, adding an intriguing element to the unfolding political scenario.

Leaders from Sangh Parivar and the BJP engaged in discussions regarding Puthila’s potential inclusion. It has been reported that they are willing to relinquish initial demands and offer a post of responsibility within the ‘Mandala’ as part of the agreement. A consultation meeting of Puthila Parivar is scheduled for February 5 in this regard, sources say.

Former MLA Sanjiva Matandoor, in a video statement, declared that Puthila is welcome to join the BJP. However, before joining, he must dissolve his organization and express regret for any statements that may have offended senior party leaders, Matandoor added.
