Mysuru: former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has alleged that the State BJP in-charge Arun Singh is coming to the State to collect money.

Speaking to reporters here, Kumaraswamy reacted to Singh’s statement that JD(S) is a sinking ship by stating, “he (Singh) does not know anything about Karnataka and the regional party here. He’s here to collect money.”

Speaking later, he sought support in the Mysore mayor election. Why did BJP leaders come to Mahesh’s office? We have not gone to them seeking support. Arun Singh does not know the real situation in the state, he often visits the BJP government here for recovery and knows nothing but that. He said no one should speak lightly about JD(S).

“Why did BJP leaders come to MLA Sa Ra Mahesh’s office seeking support in the Mysuru mayoral election? We did not go to them seeking support. Arun Singh does not know the real situation in the State. He often visits here only to collect money and knows nothing but that. No one should speak lightly about JD(S),” Kumaraswamy added.
