As investigation continues, circumstances leading to Rajesh Poojary’s death still unclear

Bantwal: Police investigation into the mystery surrounding the death of BJP member and Hindu activist Rajesh Poojary of Sajipanadu continues.

Rajesh Poojary’s mortal remains were found in the Netravati river near Panemagaluru Bridge on Thursday, January 12 after locals who noticed an abandoned two-wheeler near the old Panemangaluru bridge alerted the police and the fire station.

The forensic team has conducted a check. Moreover, the post-mortem report is also not clear. According to the preliminary information, no injuries were found on the dead body of Rajesh. The doubts about the circumstances of his death still remain.

It is learned that a mobile phone and a purse were found in his pocket.  Meanwhile, police are investigating his mobile call records. Besides, CCTV camera footage is also being perused for clues.
